Okaydan Mayonnaise with Garlic and Parsley


Sunflower seeds are known to reduce cholesterol, making this a healthy addition to any salad, sandwich or snack.

For this recipe, a little fresh garlic and a handful of chopped parsley make for a delicious and flavourful sauce.

Serves 2

  • 80ml sunflower milk
  • 400ml rice oil
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tsp. mustard


  1. Ensure that all ingredients are at room temperature before you begin, or the mayonnaise will become watery and will not bind together properly.
  2. Place all ingredients in a bowl and then blend together carefully using a hand blender.
  3. Pull the blender up and down slowly, ensuring that the consistency remains smooth.
  4. Repeat until the mayonnaise is thick enough for your tastes.
